Anybody know the approximate turn radius of the Moebius 1:72 Scale kit after RC conversion?

Too small a ballast tank, and not enough ass in the motor department. Don't go cheap on us now, pal. Spring for the proper SD!

1/96 KILO, 1/96 SKIPJACK for example.

I used to produce them. However, they are not currently available (other than the rare estate sale that pops up on EBay every now and then).
But, there's hope. My buddy, Kevin Rimrodt, will start early next year taking this and other tooling of mine to produce his line of 1/96 scale r/c submarine kits under the banner, Trident Models. Look for it mid-year.
He will also be producing another fine kit that will fit your needs soon -- all he's waiting on is completion of his production facillity which should happend by the end of the year. It's a 1/96 THRESHER class. I did the tooling for it.
Here are some shots of the finished model I assembled for Kevin's ad campaign:

David, any other 1:96 boats that my cylinder will fit? Dumb question but how do I obtain a proper conversion kit to assemble the cylinder into another boat? Also, I cannot find a link to Trident Models? Do you have a link?! Thanks, don’t want to b a pain.......Comment

What will fit? Let's see: From the Scale Shipyard, the 1/96 ALFA, and LOS ANGELES; Thor Productions, the 1/96 SEAWOLF, LOS ANGELES, THRESHER, STURGEON, and 1/60 ALBACORE; from 32nd Parallel, their 1/32 Type-23; from Small World Models, their 1/96 BLUEBACK, LAFAYETTE, KILO, and TRENCHANT.
Most of the above businesses are no longer in the game but you'll find these things listed on eBay and the like (estate sales, for example). It's an Easter egg hunt. However, be on the lookout for new product coming from Nautilus Drydocks.
Fittings kit??? Make your own, damnit!
