sub 10 esc

i got a question about the sub 10 esc it says you need two 0.01uf capacitors on the motor is that really necessary and if you need them which ones do yall prefer

A minimum of two cap's per motor, each made up to a motor pole and motor can (ground).

Between 0.01 - 0.1 micro-Farad. Ceramic type.
