It's a well-designed ROV & a well-produced video, well edited with through explanations. It should be a model of how all instructional videos on RC subs or other similar subjects be produced. That is as long as you have a freeze frame to watch certain parts of the video over again closely.
It's a bit mentally overwhelming but it has so many things in it to learn. Fasten your seatbelts absorbing it for all the learning curves coming watching it.
ROV is a good size too. Easily transportable, but how it might get through airport security I shudder the think
Parts list cost $125.00? Really?
The design of the printed circuit boards was wow. Move over DARPA!
If I could make only one small criticism in the midst of my awe and admiration at the vast knowledge presented in the video here, he could do better finding the 3-d printer he used. The parts all looked crude by present current standards, and his printed parts all required mission critical sealing with CA super glue baths to close the porous materials to make the project watertight. But still VERY Impressive! Print the next one in Resin. May still need some CA sealing but sure it be less.
Every sub club and SC chapter should have their own ROV for sub rescue work.
