I've had a close look at the plans for the K Class and compared it with the M1. I think the M1 will scale up almost perfectly to a K boat. Now we have the molds for the M1, we could perhaps just change the superstructure and get two boats for the price of one?

K Class shows 339 feet long, M1 just 309 feet. The rudder and planes look exactly the same on the drawings.

Wow! The M1 with the Peto plane, or the 12" gun or the minelayer, and the K class blowing steam out of the funnels! Gotta look pretty neat on the pond! It's just a pity they were such dismal failures in real life!

    Thanks for the Info.
It does look more like a small Destroyer than a Sub. ;)
I guess that's why I like the K-class so much, I'm still a surface Man at heart. I just like Big Weapons sticking up everywhere! :)

At first it looked like a life boat hanging on hull , but after maginfying, I could see there's a hole there with something mounted in the hole ???
An Interesting Submarine! with it's 3 deck guns :)

Trainable torpedo tubes (much like the mounts seen on early Destroyers) used on the surface. And mounted athwart-ship in the hull are lateral pointing torpedo tubes as well.
