    Like ALBACORE this boat was a test bed. Principally to verify deep submergence structures and systems. Diesel-electric.

        ... and that's test-depth. Multiply that by 1.5 and you get close to the design-depth. My gonads aren't big enough to ride that boat!

            About 28" long.

            According to FXmodels it's made of GRP with resin appendages and is RC-able and is capable of accepting one of David's 2.5" SD.

                A sailor onboard saved the boat after a fire. He won the Navy Marine Corps medal.

                          USS Greyback is a museum ship in NYC. Maybe you could get good plans from the USS Intrepid Museum, of which she is part.
