OK,...............in this picture................well...................lets just say that there are quite a few of you guys that can rightly say that this is a Skipjack or maybe even a George Washington. But why............pray tell does the prop and spinner look like they took it off of a German 212, way back before they even thought about a 212? Or am I going completely "Bonkers"?

Those NUTLESS photos are pure gold. As you know, I'm working a model of that now and when it comes time, this stuff you're posting will be of great assistance as I work out plate dishing and paint demarcation lines. Good stuff.
Here we go with another mystery. All you "would be model builders" and all you "submersible aficionados". Feast your eyes on this one and tell me what "Submarine boat" it belongs to. And dont tell me its a "barnacle barge" we can all see that. A little more specific if you please.
I am Fresh out of Cigars but you sure deserve a Big one there Tom. Did you notice the diagonal turnbuckle/straps between the rudders. Must be to help stablize them as it takes the plunge

I just figured the turnbuckles were for alignment or for safety out of water. I do not think it was left on while on patrol. You have been posting some amazing photos, thank you!
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.
