WHAT???!!! NO TAKERS???!!! OH DEAR! Well the first one was probably unfamiliar to you, including me. The first one was the new Yasen/Graney class. The second one is a Typhoon with her twin propellor shrouds. The third one of course is a WW2 Fleet boat.

The NAUTILUS, a GUPPY modified gato, and one of the "fourty one for Freeedom" . By the way. I recognized the TYPHOON and the fleet one, but thought that, as they were so evident, many people will answer

Because it looks exactly like the stern of one of the Fleet / Guppy Spanish Navy had in the fifties / seventies

I thought that the prop guards were removed from all Guppy boats. But that may not be the case in every case.

First one is of an italian NAZARIO SAURO class (I think the SAURO itself), but no idea about two others. May be the last one ... Nop, no idea.

You could be right, but my pictures caption says early US nuclear attack. If you are sure about it could you post some pictures to help me get this straight? The second one is of the USS guavina after her conversion to a Fleet Oiler. The third one is of the Albacore. Thanks for playing.

Reddevil, also the guppy that you IDed earlier, it appears that you are almost correct. The picture caption says USS Sterlet SS-392 taken in 1966 she was modified but never quite made it to a Guppy but was converted instead to a Fleet snorkle, thats why she retained her prop guards. Good try though!!!

I'm quite sure about the italian sub, because I've the same picture in a magazine about defence sysems dated in the 80'. There was a report about this class submarines informing of their commisioning. Regarding the ALBACORE, I was almost sure cause all pics of X tailed submarines are from today, and this is black and white. About the second one, I haven't the most remotely clue. Give me some time (three or four weeks) to find the magazine and some other pictures about spanish GUPPYs. I've them at the junk room in a summer house we have, and the one that rules (my wife) have issued orders to go there at the moment. By the way, I visited one of those sub (S31) when aged 13. Were completely impressed about the two japanese flags in nš 2 forward tube. It was ex USS KRAKEN (SS 370), a BALAO / FLEET SNORKEL, whose prop guards were mounted. Was in service in Spanish Navy from 1959 to 1982.
