          Cool link!
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Here we have the USS Ashville. It looks awfully busy atop the sail so I zoomed in on it. For one thing it looks like a non US issue rifle on hand on the left side of the sail. But what are those items above their heads and to the left?

I only see the handrails and the surface radar scanner with his cover.

Maybe your right. It looks a lot like a rifle leaning outboard. It is kinda fuzzy

This picture seems to show some optional equipment to the sail of this Russian sub. Can anyone ID the extra appendages on the sail to the left and right of the Bridge? Sorry about the small size of the picture. I was very fortunate to get this picture and get away with my life................Ya Know.

Pitot-tube? Is this on the BALUGA?
                              Who is John Galt?

Yes, its on the Baluga. As far as what it is......................I havent a clue. Im sure that part of it could be a Pitot tube but looking at some of the other gaget looking thingys on it I was thinking maybe it was a prototype for a Tractor Beam/particle beam emitter/automatic fishing reel. Here are some other related pictures where you can see this sensor on the port side amidships.
