    I would run three 7.2v 6800mAh packs in series for 21.6v.....for extra EMERGENCY POWER! lol

      I don't mean to be skeptical, but I have had few electrically savvy boys at the last sub regatta tell me that anything above 5ah capacity in a c size cell is starting to push the bounds of what is possible. It would appear the RC stick battery here is dimensionally about what you'd expect from C cells. If it was D sized cells - no problem - even seen these in 10ah.

        John, hopefully, in time people there will become more accustom to Lipos. Back 3 or 4 years ago, people here would say

              The problem I see with these big NiMH packs is the charging time. I'm also a bit lost on where to find a good solid charger for NimH larger capacity packs, that comply with our good standards in Australia. I have seen Hobby King just put out a statement recently about "fake" chargers that don't comply.
