Here is the Traxxas charger that I just got. It has the discharge feature.........which is good but it wont discharge to the recommended storage voltage but to 3.0 volts per cell. Too low. So you have to monitor it to get to where you want it. This charger(with the proper accessory) will charge two battery's at once the same as the ONYX. This one, however will charge up to 6 amps instead of 5 amps. A time saver. They recommend that when selecting a charge rate(usually 1c) that you take the Mah rating of the battery and divide it by 1000. So for my 6400Mah 3s batterys the charge rate would be 6.4 amps. Thats a GENERAL rule of thumb. Consult your battery label. Not bad for $89Click image for larger version

It's extremely flexible and charges every type of battery chemistry I know of. Very good value for money.

It means it has no internal power supply, so you need an external unit. I use surplus supplies from computer equipment, I snip the plug off and wire in a deans connector. They chuck out a stable 12 volts at about 5A. If you have very large capacity batteries or want to charge at high 'C' rates then you might want a 10A supply.

Redundant laptop power supplies are very good too, nice and compact and quite powerful.

Thats what I thought it meant. Have you ever noticed how much of this Chinese stuff that we are all buying, there is so much of it out of stock. I see stuff that I want and I watch it for months and years even and it stays out of stock, but they still list it. I call the vendors and they tell me that they have NO control over what comes in and when. And there is NO line of communication between the manufacturers and the vendors, because the stuff just shows up without warning. They dont even bother inquiring, because there is no feedback. Ill give you an example. Ive been waiting for a model boat to come into stock so that I can buy it and steal the drive out of it. Its been over a year and its still out of stock and the vendor has no clue and no way to find out If and when they will get it. A SORRY STATE OF AFFAIRS! IS THIS WHAT FOREIGN MANUFACTURING IS ALL ABOUT? IT SEEMS SO.http://www.raidentech.com/17wajetrcelr.html
