      Sorry, Mate!!

I didn't mean to comment positively on your great weathering techniques!! (LOL)

Over the years, I, too, have found that no matter how satisfied you are with a "job well done",
there always seem to be a "what if...." scenario lurking somewhere in the dark, far reaching
      corners of ones mind!!

All for the better, as it stimulates the "kid" in us, once again! Renewed excitement at the prospect
of yet another creative touch to undertake!

Your efforts are to be saluted, Mate!!

What's next?? Or, dare I ask!! Hah!!

      Have a great day!!

Yeah CG, no I have just ordered decals so she will stay like, that you will see as I move on now in a more positive note rather than a good job done but hesitant and not really satisfied. I will order my next cannouflage items next pension day enough, to just about finish her off.
I am pleased now that the paint has settled down. When I took the pictures all that paint was fresh but, it has really blended in well together to create a nice heavy snow texture with grays, blacks and white.
You have done well my friend, seems no one else wants to contribute, as much as yourself and I thank you for that.
Bare with me it's not over yet hahaha.
        Cheers

          Forge ahead, Mate!!

          Another question arises:

That being, is it possible for one to purchase multiple "shells" so as to allow you to swap them out
according to the season you want to portray, or would you have to buy another complete tank??

It would seem like a positive thing for both the manufacturers as well as we modelers!
          Just wondering!

I stand "at the ready" as "the battle rages on"!!

Have a most relaxing weekend, my friend!!

Hello fellow modellers. CG that is a beauty I must admit I have never heard of that one but it's a beauty. How do you get around that with your submarines? Oh Yeah
            Cheers

              G'Day, CA!

Unfortunately, swapping out of model sub "shells" is pretty much out of the question,
as they are all so different!! However, the internal workings are another story!
Depending upon the scale of the sub in question, a WTC can be used in various types.

While "surfing" through Ebay yesterday, I stumbled upon a 1/30 scale tank which has
attracted my interest!! (To say the least!!)

It's a Heng Long M26 Pershing for about $41US! Also available in the same scale is a Sherman.
Not a bad starter, I think!? There are, at least, after-market metal tracks available for her!
Would have to look around for other additional goodies, but...?

Although I'm only about half way through my USS Gato build, I may well pick up on this
little beastie anyway!! For future "rainy day" faire!! Hah!!

              Cheers!

Hey CG I had one of those beasties for 2 years and had a great time with it. It was my first tank actually and I ended up painting her into the jungle colours used by Americans in PNG fighting with the Aussies.
Yup if its the same you can pre programme it to do a number of moves lights up with machine gun fire etc.
nope I would recommend it and also 1/35 seems to be the scale for figures etc so would not be too far out methinks
But nope my blessings on that one CG.

By the way CG I have started 2 blogs on Wordpress under armstrong628. One is called Tanks of the World and the other is the book Blue Suede Shoes which I will start writing into my stories for all to read.
Bugger the publishers matey the money they are asking as far as I am concerned is very unreasonable and after all you still have to do all the Marketing to get your book Hopefully recognised. Nah i can spend that much on
20 tanks and get just enjoyment giving my readers Blue Suede Shoes for the time it takes to look up the blog and read the stories.
Ok Tanks of the World will be the history starting from WW1 of how tanks evolved and what they are today depicting as many models and histories of different tanks and countries that I can find.
So tune in and leave comments it would be great.
                  It is started now ok

Strange ok I will see what I can do. Just to advise you I have just purchased a !/24 Abrahams tank Heng Long Brand it's a little beauty also I will purchase the Japanese T90 me thinks. They have a Leopard also but have ran out of stock booH.
I paid Australian 63.00 plus 10.00 postage. I am going to purchase some 1/35 scale US crewmen and just see if I can get away with the scale difference.
                        Cheers
