I was just redoing a couple of my tanks and putting them on display before I sell them when this came to mind with this picture Seen any krauts lately
Yeah, just had breakfast with em,
Here are the two I reworked, just waiting for upgrade smoke units and a decent crew for the Panther G then probably see what we can get for them, Auction or elsewhere.
Bulldog has smoke, sound and air soft gun
Panther G is infra red, smoke, sound.

Another option if you want to go WW2 would be Panda's 38t which I mentioned earlier. Just got this email an hour ago from 35rctank:
Hello Chuck:
The Panda 1/16 38(T) kit is almost ready. I will send you e-mail when they are available.
Have a nice day!

Just located a Dragon model 38(T) in 1/35 scale, and wanted to ask your opinion
of their model tanks.
The kit detail looks really nice.
I've got it on my "watch list" on Ebay, at $24.95 USD!
Another question if you don't mind: are the "running gear" conversions "tank specific"
or determined by the physical scale of the tank in question?
Your input would be most appreciated!
Thanks!!

Dragon make nice kits. To heck with that scale... why not go for broke & get their 1:6 PzKw II! 'course any RC conversion will cost you.

Regarding 1:35 conversions you'll find what 35rctank.com offers are tank specific with proper sound files & parts. Clark offers electronics which offer more programable features & sound files. You'll have more leeway in larger scale kits in terms of aftermarket parts, electronics, etc..Comment

Wow!! 1/6??
Don't want to scare the kids around here and terrorize the neighborhood!
Besides, my tractor is liable to become jealous!! LOL
That particular seller was of the pretty firm opinion that 1/35 is WAY too small to
put r/c gear into. He, apparently, is unaware of what r/c modelers can, and will, accomplish!!
I have a Hobby Boss 1/350 USS Virginia that I'm planning to r/c! Am partially in to r&d stages of
building a viable 1" wtc. It can, indeed, be done! If anyone can do it, we crazy old timers can!
Back to my Gato!
Have a great day, Hermill, and thank you for your post!!

That would be great Hermill, ha I wonder how many thousands apply?
Okay moving on. The tank is now ready for the accessories chosen and not yet ordered to be added. I took to her with steel wool for the final hard rubdown, I am still sweating haha. After accessories the final winter snow and ice effect will be done. I will also put some rust/mud effects in also. I will explain how I do this, might surprise some of you,
Here is the Panther G now.
Okay that will be it. Now accessories next
See you all next post.Love is a Nimitz.Comment

Hellow fellow modellers, I just could not let this pass without telling you guys.
You can see in the picture a Heng Long Russian KV-1. This was one of my first tanks. You can see that the idler is missing. The bracket broke off. I looked around to repair it and could find nothing.
I put it out into the garden as is and for 4 years have been using it for target practice.
We have had flooding, thunderstorms, days if 38C and above temperatures strong winds and hail.
Today, I picked it up and it still had the 7.2 nicsd in it.
I thought I would insert a charged battery into it and you would not believe if, both motors and gearboxes perfect, speaker noise perfect, turret turned great, air soft gun fires and very strong.
I was amazed, so, now she will get a new start in life as I can fever a complete bottom hull and idlers for it for 17.00.
So another one to the Squadron and for doing up.
So I wouldn't complain about Heng Long stuff after what this tank has been through.Love is a Nimitz.Comment
