    Dr. Hahn is not involved in the project as I discovered earlier in the week but I did hear from Mr. Davies-Garner who said it is, indeed, underway with a planned release in 3 years. After seeing some of his models - he is the one who built the 1:48 Titanic at the Titanic: Ship of Dreams Exhibit in Orlando, FL - I would say this project is in capable hands.       Here is an update on the Graupner Type 7. The first model to be released in December will not dive at all! It is just a surface boat. They are planning on a more advanced boat coming out after that which also will include a static/dynamic diving option. This was stated by the German Graupner rep at the model show in Nuernberg this year. Here is the link to the latest video:
