I use diamond abrasive cutting wheels and permagrit (tungsten carbide grit) tools. You can use normal steel blades but you need to use fairly fine blades to avoid chipping the composite and they quickly lose their edge as the glass is so hard. I have an old Minicraft bench saw which was close to useless in original guise, I fitted with a diamond wheel and power it via a flexible shaft and it slices up GRP sheet very easily. A bit of water brushed on helps the cutting action and keeps the dust down- dry glass dust is like itching powder!

For non-impregnated glass cloth, I use scissors. Tungsten bladed scissors will keep their edge for longer, but they all blunt in the end, so expect to sharpen the blades after some use.

If cutting against a surface use something sacrificial like an old wooden board
