Where to buy magnetic pushrod couplers

    Hi guys,
I have performed many internet searches to locate a source for the magnetic pushrod couplers I see being used in various sub builds but, without luck. For all the subs I see sporting these connectors, it's weird I have not found a source. Would some of you direct me to a website to buy them?

    Thanks!

Just get some neodymium magnets and 3D print, cast, fabricate some holders.
Make it simple, make strong, make it work!

Just glue the magnets into a brass tube and solder latter to the push rod.....prevent the magnets from getting too hot

I am not experienced with 3D printing machines. Is there anyone making magnetic connectors up for sale?

Make them from brass tubing then.

Replace the flexible cable with a 1/16 brass or stainless steel shaft for the control rod. Use epoxy ( 2 part putty) or UV cured resin instead of hot glue.

Draw something up in tinkercad or onshape and have them printed by a bureau, not at all expensive, and you can make them to your requirements.

You can enquire with Ron Perrott about his magnetic connectors he supplies with his WTC’s. He doesn’t advertise them individually, but can probably equip you with a set if making ypu own is unattractive. http://www.rcsubs.co.uk/our-products

At one time, Bob used to offer them for sale. The big ones and the little ones. I don’t know if that’s the case any longer, as I haven’t seen them lately. Bob?
Of the approximately 40,000 men who served on U-boats in WWII, it is estimated that around 28,000 to 30,000 lost their lives.
