    Manta Ray Submarine

    Pretty cool. https://www.foxnews.com/us/top-secre...ed-google-maps
Of the approximately 40,000 men who served on U-boats in WWII, it is estimated that around 28,000 to 30,000 lost their lives.

I'm a bit puzzled by it shape. Why a ray shape? It is a typical useless internet article to wow you, oh look at its cool shape! (a 5-year-old level). It seems the shape is for efficient use of energy moving through the water and can store or collect sun energy when it is in a dormant sleeping mode? Disguising itself as another manta ray when in shallow clear water? Need Norman Friedman to explain please. lol. Sensors in its wing would give it arrays a wider base line for higher resolution. Analogy to wider spaced 'eyes', the better the depth perception seeing what's ahead. Any more info?

Perhaps deployable by dropping it from a plane....that thing looks like a blended wing body:

Thank you. Getting up to speed. I know autonomous vehicles is the future. Who knows we may not have manned submarines any more just all by robots. I know that well along already. as usual, a classified world.
