A little update, should probably be posted on a different forum but here we go. This morning go to test the ballast with the WTC sealed since I haven't got any good results yet. I used the wireless switch as a terminal block bypassing the relay making a direct connection. With that the pump started working pulling water from outside the WTC - used a syringe as a source and to allow me to measure amount and rate into the larger syringe used as ballast inside the WTC. after it stopped I thought maybe its the timer on the TX, reset it and nothing but rx voltage went from almost 8 to zero instantly. then I tried a couple other things including hooking up the pump to a power supply. power supply over current protection kicked in ? I saw this on another pump, the brushes were just sticks cantilever from a side making a small contact line. time it wrong and it would stall and not start. the problem here is kind of the opposite there is enough resistance to movement it stalls in a position and the motor acts as a short not high enough to have the ESC kill it but enough to pass on to everything downstream. the lesson here is brushed peristaltic pumps are not your friendComment
