  • Type 212A Mast's and Antenna's

Looking for Scope/Mast Data on the 212A. Individual Identification needed, as well as which contain the Nav Lights. IE Masthead, Sub ID beacon, etc. I know US boats display Sub ID as morse "S" per Congress/COLREG, but what about European? Dimensions/drawings a plus.

      TODARO works for me!

      Thanks!

Wouldn't happen to have a color match for the topside of the Italian Scirè (S 527)??

Someone had mentioned it in the past but I can't find the thread.

That picture is from the Thames River in Groton, CT. Scire had a nice port visit at Subase, and a good time was had by all!!

Thank you, but I'm looking specifically for the Italian S527.

In the same year the Italian government placed an order of two U212A submarines built by Fincantieri for the Italian Navy (Marina Militare) at Muggiano shipyard, designated as the Todaro class.

Not leaving you out Casey. Agreed regarding how close that is. Just waiting to see if any of my distant relatives have anything to offer. Unfortunately, all my close relatives, Uncles/Aunts/Cousins, in Italy don't "Drive 'n Dive" lol! So I doubt they would know.

Hard to see with the reflectance of the sunshine bathing the subject, but Scire is a weird shade of green topside, not actually gray at all! I saw her when she was here visiting on several occasions as she stood out and returned on the Thames.

That's what I'm thinking Bill, better for that Mediterranean fish bowl environment.

Hi maybe this site is better.

I got the stoagies this year. After dinner "Drive and Dive" pondside with our favorite libations as well.
