Peter, it looks like your Russian pictures come from the same Russian website that I frequent here and there. I saw the pictures that you posted of the sierra bow planes as well as the ones you just posted, on that Russian site the other night. Good work. Some of the pictures are "Bitmap". If youve tried to post them youll find that the Caswell forum doesnt like them and wont accept them(or at least it didnt used to, I havent tried in a while). If you have that problem , let me know and Ill show you how to get around it, unless you already know.
Mark, those Russian websites are pretty good I have quite a few on my bookmark bar. I do not have problems with bitmaps as you have already helpfully shown me how to change them.
You have to take into consideration that Im as old as dirt. Sometimes I forget whether Im coming or Going............................................W hat were we talking about?..................OH!

Tandem wheels on a common shaft. The idea was to get maximum blade area on a single shaft to exploit the available horses. This was in that period just before the Japanese sold them the tools and software to make bigger wheels that did not sing out, 'here I am, imperialistic, degenerate, Yankee dog!"
Whadayamean, if there is an interest??!! Of course there is an interest. We want to see your modelling exploits!......................................... ...Besides...............this way we can keep an eye on you.......................Kapeesh?

The guy standing next to the torp loading hatch is on mighty slippery grounds. The fourth picture appears to be a hatch immediately in front of the temporary windscreen. Must be an access panel to the SOKS calibration aerials or sumpin. Now that I look at it again, the bow shape and length, I believe are wrong for an Akula. The second to the last picture is reportedly a superimposed drawing of the relative sizes of the Los Angelos class and the Akula.
