      Tower Hobbys has these 4 channel radios. Only drawback I see is that they are AM. But I here they are being used with good results.

          Good catch, Mark. I'm with you, can't wait to see what Bob comes up with. The 27mHz sets you came up with look good, if a bit pricy for such gear (but, today, it's a sellers market). Don't like the AM but very much appreciate the ability to store model info and ability to set end-points. Most guys can do without transmitter control of the stern planes, leaving that chore to the on-board angle-keeper, so in that case, four-channel gear is fine.
