Revell Type IX arrived in Canada!

Had an early Christmas gift to myself. The new Revell Type IX arrived today in the mail.

Took a quick look. Very nice details and each hull side is in two pieces now because of size. Was wondering about the US flags included :-) until I realized it is a late U-505.... daaah

Will post some pictures of details and kit content tomorrow.

And I expect to loose at least 20% of the available torque to the gears and universal. Screw it, it'll work.

Its a bloody awful alignment David. the torque loss is one thing, the increase in fuel consumption (battery life) via additional amps that arrangement flicks up will be interesting.

I take it that given you have now moved on to this that my order is done and ready for shipping?????
