Thanks Tom, I'm still learning myself. I am very happy with the strength of the carbon items. They certainly don't have the intricate detail of molded plastic. But they are there and represent.
My Dad swung by to drop off the Nautilus, so I haven't finished my sanding block. I've pulled it from the mold and found the tape I laid down to protect the hull bubbled. Probably wont affect much, but doesn't look pretty.
A small test block sanded. The green n red mark is to reference waterline. The paper is just CA'd down. I doubt I'll ever wear it out to need replacing.
Digital slot cars.... 6 cars on the track at the same time in any lane. It filled the winter time until I got into submarines. 7' x 13' table suspended from cables and retracts into the ceiling with a winch. Gotta keep the other half happy by not filling entire basement with toys.

That is so slick! -- let me see it ... let me see it!!!!
For some reason I can only load one pic at a time today. So this shall be the last one for now. Tried to get the link to my photobucket, but it seems I don't exist anymore. 1/32 scale by the way. I've converted a few Revell static cars to run on the track too.
