I dug out a trench in the engines, Covered the bottom of the fins with parcel tape, filled the trench with Car body filler and settled the fins in. When filler was dry, gently prised them out and Hey presto!

I think that I am wasting my time. I should just send you my SKYDIVER and let you build it.

Yes, thats the whole point of it. Im going to take a week vacation here in three weeks. I will use that to catch up on a few projects. Thatll help hasten the start of the SKYDIVER, I hope.

Good, and when you've done yours I can get an idea of what to do to make one that dives as well lol.

As it stands, I finished the vents, just need to tidy them up and sorted the gap where the conning tower meets the main hull. More tommorow:biggrin:

Amazing stuff -- I so want to get into one of these. Many have helped with research and support. The missing ingredient is TIME!

Im thinking that maybe I made a mistake with the purchase of the 3 ft. version. Perhaps I should have went with the Five footer.

Was a time when 3 foot was considered big enough. I regret selling my 3 footer, it was so much easier to handle, transport an still looked impressive in the water.

Added the little side vents an the engines, the scaled up (cant remember what they are) bits between the engines and main hull and the raydome on the back of the conning tower.
