    Scale Antennas

Of those of you that run with scale antennas fore and aft, what practical material and attachments do you use?
1/72 U505. Three piece deck and removable conning tower.

Do you mean the antenna rigging connecting the conning tower to the bow and the stern? For my Revell model I simply left them off entirely. Makes removing the deck much easier. At that scale you’re looking at a thin wire, either piano wire or electric guitar strings.

How about using mini reare earth magnets disguised as ceramic insulator. That way you could easily disconnect the rigging everytime you need to remove the deck
Make it simple, make strong, make it work!

I thought about that. Just might give it a try.
