I’m not good at weathering. Solid paint I can do and the airbrush seemed straight forward. But I’m not artistic at all, and don’t have that 3D talent.

Good things take time, effort and dedication. Any idiot can squirt paint. An exceptional idiot can paint AND weather.

Casey! I never did any weathering myself. Never used an airbrush until now. You can see what I have been doing on my airbrush thread. Find something to practice on. Buy a section of PVC from Home Depot. Give it a try!

I was always a rattle can painter. Never decanted rattle cans. Never played with mixing paint. I am lousy with colors. Now I am enjoying it.
I have been converted. The more I play with the different ways to weather, the more confident I get doing it.

I got lead to water, and I am in deep now. Thank you David!!!!

David M. would get put out with me for saying this, but that is the final look I really like! Just like it looked as it was rolling out the submarine paint shop! :-)) Weathering will be my next goal. It will be interesting to see what you do with your with your Blueback!
