Just sharing photos of my WTC which I made from various repurposed materials. The cylinder is a section of plastic tubing 9 .5 inches long, with a 1.5 inches (38mm) OD and 1 27/64 inches (36mm) ID. It is used as sort of track for small motorized cars.
The endcaps are plastic blocking plugs used to seal the ends of stainless steel or aluminum pipes like railings and furniture legs.
They have a couple of flanges that help grip the inside of the pipes. As they were a couple of millimeter larger than the nternal diameter of the WTC I took a file and slowly ground the edges til it was able to slide in without binding.
I then ordered some 36mm x 30mm x 3.1mm O rings and placed it between the 2 flanges. This is the endcap inserted at the end of the cylinder. Fit and sealing was good.
