The LA files from The Nautilus Drydocks in 1/72 scale printed in PLA+. 5-1/2" beam. 60" long. Its a good looking boat. I will seal it inside and out with high fill polyurethane primer.
NIce print, now what is going on with the Typhoon in the background?
That is an epoxy fiberglass hull pulled from a set of molds that my friend Darrell Sprayberry has. Him and another guy made the molds years ago. I am waiting on the resin appendages but basically it is a future project.
I taped the openings from the outside and then sloshed polyurethane primer inside to seal it up and added the stern plane yokes. She's ready to start filling and priming.
Sanded with 80 grit it is now ready for some Evercoat Rage filler and then a coat of PU primer. There is a good possibility that I could have this one ready for the regatta in Cohutta next month as well.
