    Hello

No issues DH just questions as to why you chose to do something one way,not another way. Here goes:
    1) I see you designed a one piece sliding cover when the actual one had a two piece for the front and back, I later read here that you had intended it to be a closed version, just the figures posted early on confused me since then there would be no need for figures.

    2) You designed push rod tubing for the planes to be visible on top of the plane, was there a reason they could not be below and not visible, so much?

I am JUST curious please take no offense, I just wanted to know why one way was done rather than another.

Also again Thank You for posting this build. I would Love to have a version of my own as well one day.

So I see elsewhere that HWSNBN and you are planning on having this hull for sale, do you know when?

Thanks again for posting this build.

    George

      George,
      No offense taken.

This is a test model that HWSNBN (I like that) and I are evaluating. The hatch was made solid but could easily be adapted to an open version. There might be a WTC in the way and that is why mine is closed
The dive plane exit location is 100% scale.
I have no information on production.

          Hi D.H
Could you give us some overall dimensions of the SDV MK8? I know the length in 1/16 you said is 16.5", what is the Width and Beam? Can you tell me what the propeller diameter is and the prop.hub each side. Thanks again for sharing your build of this.
What do you plan on doing with the figures since you have a WTC plan for it`s future?

          Thanks Again for posting this.
          George

Beam is about 4" and the prop is about 2.5". The rest of the dimensions are confidential... :)
The figures are going to stay in my spares box.
