    Zulu

No yet sure how this will work out. In 1/96 scale it would be 930 mm.

Clearly we are both mathematical geniuses. I meant 93 Centimetres which would be around 36 and a half inches. A handy size.

Zulu V second batch with two missile silos - please, pretty please.

Although, it would be better in 1/72.

Doing it in 1/72 would make the model 1.25 metres long - too big for easy carriage and impossible to ship from Australia due to the limited capabilities of our potal service (whose CEO we pay over AUD5,000,000.00 per year. That's fight folks; we pay this guy $5M a year to deliver a third world postal service).

Do you have a plan of the sail with missile silos perchance?

The plans that I have are for a Zulu II from around 1960.

                    OK,
I understand - Zulu II in 1/96 it is.

You could always cut the nose or tail off before shipping. People are going to do that any to make the standard Z cut.

This how the plug is looking at the moment. Looks bigger than I had imagined.

So I went back and checked the numbers - and its the right size. A comparison with the Romeo is interesting.

The Zulu is a lot bigger. 90 metres versus 76.6 metres and almost a metre wider.

Hello. In order to encourage the great progress being done here I would like to publish some pictures I have on this somewhat unusal modelling subject. With the hope they will come in handy.

Thank Mate. I got the sunken Zulu photograph. I have not seen that one before and it is VERY interesting. Thanks.
