Thank you, Your Eminence. I have stolen and pillaged (mostly) your ideas and come to a place where I'm almost happy with the things that I make. This one is the best so far, but there will be more - I hope. -
With each new project I see improvement in both the model work and use of fixtures, jigs, and specialized tools. You sir, are becoming a force to be reckoned with!

Getting the splitter board set up.
Once the gap between the plug and the board is properly filled I'll screw the sides on this thing and fill the top with silicone rubber. Instant top mould!Leave a comment:

This is the first sail out of the mould. Its a one piece silicone rubber mould so I am using casting resin to produce the finished sails.

Slowly, slowly, makie Zulu. Most of the sail is now finished. There are two gratings to be added to the top section that I haven't made yet and a few more bits and pieces.
