"Priastine"???? I don't like auto correct very much but when it changes a correctly spelled word like "pristine" to priastine, I really have to wonder!

Post war Japanese JSDF assets have always been well maintained and clean. The Japanese are clean-freaks (and the culture has produced the most raciest, toughest little SOB's on this planet) and a very by-the-numbers people.

Making the last mast. This started as two, aluminium oval extrusions.
Some CA, a bit of bog in the holes and voila.Then some black paint.
And the final mast stuck in place.
Its covered in dust but it will look alright in the final wash up.
