Lets see now. HWSNBN still has the final test shot to approve. Then he has to ship it to them. There's at least two weeks, before they get it. Then they have to make the molds, churn out a container full, get it to port, sail it round the world, pass it through customs and truck it to Moebius.
Finally, a shipment goes to Tower Hobbies.

Mid March? That's just over two weeks away.

Like a lot in life... some of the best things are woth the wait. I've been wanting a working model of this class of sub since I was a kid. It like the Seaview and Gato are what I grew up seeing on the box. So after forty or so years I can wait a bit more.

I'm holding the test-shot hostage. Place ten-million bucks, in small bills, behind the third door or the plastic gets it!

Once they get the critique (I'm not the only guy who has to pass on this test-shot) the manufacture finalizes the tooling and they start series production. How long till the kits get into your hot little hands? Hell ... I don't know. I'm just the idiot designer here.

Ha! Lets put it like this. I was told late Dec 2011. The final test shot is still with Mr. Merriman, having final adjustments made. How Tower Hobbies can make such a prediction is beyond me, because I've given up looking in my crystal ball or trying to guess anything, and I'm privy to much more info than them!

Think European modellers will like to build it as a dry hull, and with the hull sections divided like that, it's spot on for a bayonet seal, but will the styrene hull be robust enough? Could always line it with epoxy inside I guess, or fit a tube.

That prop looks funny with the boss separate from the blades, what's the reasoning behind that?

Good grief Andy! Merriman designs it for a Sub-driver and wet hull and they have to mess with it! Just tell them no, it's not 'broke'!
