    AKula Tail Rudders

Can anyone post a picture of the tie-rod arrangement that they used to activate the 2 rear horizontal, and vertical tail fins, and allowed for the drive shaft. Any sub that uses the same sort of configuration for tail fins will do.
    Thanks in advance

Wow, that would have saved me from a lot of agrivation on the Ko Hyoteki, if I knew about those gimble castings. I like the simple wire and teflon stops idea too.

That last pic....that is a close fit....and you probably squeezed in contra rotating propeller shafts because you had some room left?
I’m a little surprised you didn't make the props steerable too.

After seeing this I will try to gradually put the pieces of my, once healthy self-esteem, back together with duct tape and continue with my build.

          grtz,

            Thanks!!

Thank you soooo much guys, I truly appreciate it. Obviously all of you are absolutely brilliant, and I really do appreciate the fact that you share your vast knowledge.

I don't have the use of my hands, but Im going to muddle thru the mechanics of this...if its the last thing I do,.
I was endlessly stupid, and purchased a dirt cheap, complete Akura kit from someone that found it impossible to build, and it ended up being a horrible RC Subworks Asian unit. Im not going to wax poetic on my own stupidity, or the totally inept production of the kit by its makers......but man, I REALLY wish I didn't do that.
Lets just say...Im not the sharpest knife in the drawer, and leave it at that.
            Again, thanks

ID:	98426 Darrin Hataway (one of the most fearless Model Builder's I know) was kind enough to share with me his original tooling for his DELPHIN (spelling?), the German K-Corps intended one-man mini-sub. I got as far as the control surfaces and running gear, put it sits collecting dust as I got caught up in production work (I blame my boss, Mike Caswell, the Evil, Dark Overload of the Universe).

You don't have use of your hands? Specifically what do you mean! If you can't use your hands, why are you in this game? I'm interested in your work-around if that is the case (I used to ghost-build for an MS guy, so I know the work-arounds). What's your problem?

                  Delfin!!

Is this a spotting of the often mentioned, never seen Delfin that isn't a Norbert Bruggen kit???!!!
An American friend of mine let me play with his huge Bruggen Delfin and I fell in love with it...it was a sheer joy to play with. Its speed and agility is a hoot. I have begged him to sell it to me...but no go.
Im hoping that the sub kit gods plop one onto the market that is affordable enough for me lust after.
Looking at this ones pics has made me realise that this is waaaaay above my skill-set to build.

Mr. Caswell and I hope to one day produce a vacuformed kit of this thing. But, that won't happen till I catch up with orders -- something I have not been able to do since hitching our wagon to his.
