Loosing up the dive the sail dive planes on the 1:72 Skipjack

Seems like a lot of resistance in the sail dive planes. Grease or just hollow out the holes?

Are the gear teeth too tight a mesh? Is the gear operating shaft too long, its ends rubbing tightly against the inside walls of the sail? are the bearing holes through which the sail plane operating shaft passes too tight?

    No grease!

Seems the sail plane shafts are a bit too snug.

Open up the bearing holes in the sides of the sail and you're good.

Casey, in the past, PMs did not work with David.
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.
