    4" Diameter WTC for sale

I've decided to swap out the WTX in my X Craft for a 3.5" SAS Sub-driver, so the original is for sale.

It works on the principal of pumping water into a bladder inside the WTC. It also has a mechanism which physically moves the weight of the two (new) NMH batteries to adjust the boat's trim.

It has everything installed, Sombra 8ch Receiver, ESC, failsafe, pitch controller, servos, water pump etc.

There is a small leak in the ballast tank area. I suspect it is a loose connection to the bladder. (Yes, folks, bladders do leak) I can't be bothered to take that section apart and mess with it, so I'll price it at $475.00.

    Pictures to follow later today.
Stop messing about - just get a Sub-driver!

I'm pretty sure the bag is one used for urine incontinence (I'm not taking the pi**). You can purchase replacements on ebay for peanuts. They come in various sizes, often the volume is printed on them.

This module/wtc best suits a model with fairly low freeboard, like the x-craft or another midget sub of similar proportions like a Seehund

wow.. yep. tiny ballast tank for such a big diameter WTC. Sorry, I'll have to think on this one. Don't hold it on my account. Thanks, Mike!

If I knew that it would fit my Alfa ,I would buy it . Not sure I can squeeze it in there.

Get a bit of 4" pipe and I'll take measurements. I could also send it to you to try it, just send it back in one piece if it doesn't work out.

I'm resurrecting this thread, as I still have the WTC. It's been on the shelf whil I deal with a thousand other things, like remodeling my home. (Just finished the kitchen, which took a long time! Here's a photo - just to show how clever I am.)

I'm getting rid of the WTC from my X Craft, as I'm converting this boat to a dynamic diver so I can run it safely in the canal.

The unit is much the same as advertised before, a potential small leak in the bladder somewhere. I have another BP Cuff bladder the same size, which I'll throw in. It's on 75mhz and uses 2 ni/cad batteries. You could strip this down and use the parts.
