WTB: Dynamic Dive WTC or parts

    Hello,

I've got a 3D-printed 1/96 LA that I'm hoping to have done in time for this year's subfest, but the next major hurtle for me is the WTC. I'd like to get my hands on either an RTR or ARTR WTC with a max diameter of ~3.5 inches (in order to fit inside the hull's printed bulkhead segments) because I don't think I'm ready to take a crack at a WTC with a ballast system, yet.

While I would prefer to get a complete WTC, I'm also willing to buy parts, ideally at least a tube segment with end caps.

I'm willing to spend reasonably, and depending on your location I might be able to drive either to you or close to you for in-person pickup and/or cash and carry.

    Thanks in advance!

There is not a lot of choice in the market for dynamic diving wtc’s, as most modellers favour those with ballast systems.

Ron Perrott (R&R) has made some up in the past, and may be able to assist you, however the price difference between a dynamic dive WTC and one with a ballast system may be less than you think. If you find a ballast system a bit intimidating you can always cap it off and dive the boat dynamically, and once you feel comfortable with that, take the dive system out of the mothballs.

      What Andy said above!

Just get a full, proper cylinder and simply don't use the ballast system. It will likely be the same price for a one-off dynamic cylinder as it would be for a full cylinder.
