I think that I will stay with what can be seen with the eye and model the sub that way. It wouldn't be nice to have some one from the FBI come to my home or find me at a run with the model and say can you come with me! At least this way that can't do any thing with me for building the model for what is vissble to everyone.

The ends of the fairwater planes were snipped slightly so they're flatter than the standard planes. I'm in final assembly of my 1980 Parche version in 1/72 scale for a commissioned build. During design, I changed the sail cap for multiple configurations. This version uses a Manuevering watch setup for the masts and antennas. There's even a bridge IC suitcase. The shot shown is prior to touch-up.
I ended up being the Ship's Superintendent when she arrived at Bangor in '94 and was fortunate to view the underbody on both versions. The second version is on my build list, but having the rear complete with the first version will make it much faster to build what I need. I created a (classified) digital model for some fancy renders for the program office a decade ago using great reference shots.
I have 90 keel blocks to sand and paint for the base. Hanging a security curtain around the sides of the hull would make a nice model detail without compromising anything.
