So I pulled the motor off and took off the lower end. Using the pipe and header as a guide I marked the lower end where it needed to be cut down. Using a vertical bandsaw and a die grinder from work, it was a cinch. Tonight I modified the brass water pickup tube. Now all I have to do is assemble it. Perhaps tomorrow after work. I have a interesting work schedule. I work 5am to 5 pm tuesday thru saturday. I have Sunday and Mondays off. My employer is Happy with it and it works for me.
