I love the "patina" on the prop the best but the weathering on the hull is top notch as well. Brass/bronze props don't stay shiny for long and seawater certainly accelerates the process of oxidation and/or tarnishing. Too tired of seeing pristine R/C vessels or ones that have fresh, clean hulls and weathered topsides. Kind of a flip-flop on the weathering technique as the modeler forgets the crew of an operational vessel would tackle any rust forming on the superstructure where they could reach it, especially while underwway and the hull would be neglected more.

Oohh... That looks great!! If you can do that from pointers... I can only Imagine what you could do from a full on tutorial!!
I'm still struggling with the whole sea fairng ship weathering thing. But I too am learning with each new project and sites with good people like this are damn good starters.Cheers,
Alec.
