Im sorry, let me brighten those up for you, they are too dull. Need more detail. There.......thats better. -
This is interesting as Hong Kong Island is so small and still has secrets hidden! watch the video.
The site - hidden in bush in Tai Tam Country Park - was discovered by engineer Craig Mitchell on November 2011, but he has only made its whereabouts public after months of painstaking investigation established beyond doubt that the site is genuine.

I think the droop is to give them a better chance on landing, the fact that modern carriers don't have this feature might be a signLeave a comment:

The Hermes from WW2. Note the droop of the Deck. Either sagging from a structural failure or designed to help flyers from tripping over the edge. I would think that it would create additional problems for the flyer.

Above is the back end of the Kuznetsov.
Below a pair of SU-33s. I love the colour schemes of these planes.

If you look closely to the first picture you can see the rear gunner trying to get out the back. This plane was shot down by a Navy B24. The rear gunner then thought better of it and stayed with the plane all the way down. Doesnt look like he had a parachute on.Last edited by greenman407; 03-23-2013, 09:44 AM.Leave a comment:
