I am just now posting pictures of the bridge. There was a CROCHETY OLD MAN on duty there. He must have been a volunteer. He said" Touch nothing and you wont get hurt! He definetely took the wind out of our sails. We were getting ready to back her out onto the Hudson river and take her for a spin. 600 lbs. of Steam pressure and let er rip!

What a pity. I missed this visit because when I went to New York the INTERPID was being refurbished. Another reason to go back there.
