I'll have to come up with something so horrible, so against-the-laws-of-nature, so ugly and so illegal to do to the guy who put up that avatar that the matter will only be resolved by a multi-nation war-crimes tribunal supported by UN Troop given shoot-to-kill orders!
Sleep well, Mike!
I send that guy a DVD full of r/c submarine footage and what's the first screen-grab he pulls off of it?...
Ahmm, gentlemen I hate to interfere in your trenchwar here (quite entertaining though) but one more question if I may.
To place the SD into the type VII hull--do builder utilise the two bulkheads (modified) provided in the Revell kit or just scrap them and fit the SD without?
Thanks for any input,
Regards,Uwe
BTW, Revell Germany has taken all their 1:72 submarines out of their productionline. They usually reintroduce them after 2-3 years but if people need spares or like to build one now this might be of interest. You can still get the VII/41 and the Gato for a good price online but once they are gone they are gone.....

I assembled mine without the saddles. The SD sits on the fixed ballast weights.
