    My U-552 travel box

I just completed my Type VII travel box. It's made from very thin foam cored plywood. Also used 1/2 by 1/4 square at the edges. Lined with pink foam. Also little pink foam fillers so boat will not move forward or back. I got transfers made up at 'Signs Now'. Identified the Type VII with U-552 and Caswell and D & E miniatures as internal components. Transfers cost $ 56.77. Material for the box was around $ 60.00.

Nice job! Especially the names. How about a shot of the inside?
Stop messing about - just get a Sub-driver!

      Ask and ye shall receive.

Not as nice I'm afraid. There's a place for the transmitter and propel in the box back by the stern of the sub. However I didn't include that for the picture. I hope I haven't offended any of your other suppliers by not including their named products.

Nice box. A necessity in my book.

I ran my prototype Revell 1/72 Type-7 at the SubRegatta -- it is now officially my 'favorite' boat (I have 15 operational at this time). 1300mAh's gives me about an hour's fun-time.

I'D like to see a picture of your painted test boat.

I'm going to get the lettering for the Gato box today.

            Yes pics please.
The Type 7 has always been my dream boat. I always wanted to play Das boot in the pool. Maybe after I finish my Kilo...
