    Trumpeter 1/144 kit...Instructions

Well after a long time of pleading, I was lucky enough to be given a Trumpeter 1/144 kit, by a very close friend, I believe from the Merriman line. What a absolute thing of beauty, built like a Swiss watch, and perfect in every way.
Unfortunately, It did not come with a set of instructions, and I have faaar too many silly questions to be bothering the townsfolk with.
There must have been instructions posted here at one time or another, does anyone have either instructions for this unit, or point me to the link where they were posted in the past.
If I get complete enough instructions I may send them to the powers that be, to insert into every kit, especially for people like me, that don't have acres of experience.
    Thank you in advance.

And a very big THANK YOU to Romel (Redboat) for finding those documents.

Yeah. We don't **** around over here, Kim. We also have Mr. Caswell to thank -- he put in all the work pushing my old Cabal Reports into PDF's and hosting them at his site here.

There's one modification you need to do to the kit that HWSNBN forgot to mention in the cabal report. You need to cut off the tip of the kit's stern cone to about the same diameter as the propeller hub so that the supplied prop shaft will reach up pass the stern bearing bulkhead for you to attach the aft coupling. It also blends the taper the stern cone to the prop hub. The only problem with doing this is that now the hole in the back of the boat is much larger then the size of the shaft. To prevent the shaft from wobbling around in the enlarged hole of the stern cone you need to make a plug either using epoxy putty or CA impregnated baking soda. Put a strip of masking tape over the back hole and then fill the bottom of the boat with a pinch baking powder Ca. A drop of CA will harden the BS into a plug. You then drill a 1/16" hole in the center of this plug to accept the shaft.

You two should rent a flat and start picking out furniture!
