    gassing subdriver....

    ....new to gas systems and now have a couple of older subdrivers.

    Having trouble charging the reservoir bottle. Made up an adapter to fit on butane can from a hiker's stove which terminates in a bike valve. Gas is there, under pressure, but can't seem to transfer into the bottle.

    Any advice on charging appreciated.....I'm in Australia, are US valves different?

    Anyone?

      First thing that poped into my mind is: The schrader valve in the reservoir bottle, as you call it , has to be opened by your valve, when you push them together. Is that happening? Perhaps if the valves are different, then they are not engaging and opening together. Here are two pictures. One shows two of the valves that I use to charge my reservoir bottle.
