    Receiver Power

I'm using an 8 channel Shultz receiver in an Engel Akula. I've run outs of channels! Or, more precisely, I have all of the channels allocated and I don't have anywhere to plug the receiver battery pack lead in. I don't want to run a BEC and I wonder if there is an easy (and safe) way to scarf the battery pack leads in somewhere?

Sure. Just parallel wire in the power from a battery or BEC (rated at 5-volts and can pump out 5-Amperes) to one of the leads going into the receiver. The receiver bus will distribute the power to all plugged in devices.

Can you just use a Y rx cable and run two off the same channel (since one is only going to be for power anyhow)?

Sure, plug one leg of the Y into the device, the other leg into the power supply. Done.

I tried to take a picture of my work area, but my camera laughed at me in disgust and refused. So, your area is rather tidy:)

Again, I've gotten things off the beaten path.

Let's get back on topic, guys.

                          Sorry, Hardrock.

All good. It worked by the way. Now to fix the pesky bow thruster. What happens when a good bow thruster goes bad? Well, this happens.

OK. I now have power but there is a new (and interesting) glitch. The TMax control system on this boat allows the tanks to be full empty, 90% full and 100% full. empty and full are working just fine however at 90% the bow tank glitches back and forth as though its hunting for a position. I've fitted suppressors allover the boat; the thing has more rings than an analogue telephone, but the glitch persists. Any ideas would be most welcome.
