How long do you normally run your boats in the water- 15, 30 minutes, an hour, before heading back?

Unless I'm chasing or being chased, I'm bored after about 15-minutes. https://youtu.be/t7gDrTtxnWoWho is John Galt? -
It depends. On some of my subs the runtime is 20-45 minutes ( depending on how hard I drive it). So I am limited by the battery. Other boats I can go several hours, not that I do. Then there is the sub that takes so much darn concentration to run, that 10 minutes seems like a lifetime. If I am in a contemplative mood I can run an hour or two, but usually it is under the 45 minute time frame. I find shooting the breeze with fellow RC submariners is becoming a priority. Not sure how much time we have or how many trips around the sun we are given so making memories is important. If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.Comment

Rolling eyes - yup that's about right. Considerably less than it takes to go from this to grow that. Lol. I remember a kid asking me, can we watch you crash it? 'Sure kid, after we test drown you first'.
Generals Mark Clark & Erwin Rommel where both huge media hams (news reels) and both insisted being filmed from their left rides..
