    Correct toroid placement

if you have servo chatter, for example potentially caused by an ESC or even another servo, should the toroid be placed in the servo wire that is chattering or in the Device suspected of causing the chatter (such as ESC wiring)? In my example the Receiver would be on its own power supply not a BEC. Thank you.

It is generally best to use ferrite solutions on the wires that are acting as the source of the interference and/or the wires that are most susceptible to the interference (signal wires).

A good noise-reduction strategy often involves using them on both high-current cables (the source of noise) and nearby signal cables (the victim of noise).

    High-Current Wires (Noise Source)
Placement: Place the ferrite core as close as possible to the device creating the noise (e.g., the power supply output, or the motor drive unit).

    Signal Wires (Noise Victim)
Placement: For the best results, place cores at both ends of the signal cable (close to the device connectors).
