    Allen screwdriver

I'm having a hard time with the set screws in the clevis for the stern plane shafts on my Kilo. I do have a 1.2mm Allen wrench but it's so short to reach all the way back into the stern cone and even into the ballast tank when adjusting the blow valve. I notice in the videos David uses an Allen screwdriver. I managed to locate something similar in our local hardware, unfortunately the smallest one available comes in 1.5mm.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

I used my Dremel tool to cut off one leg of the Allen wrench then drilled a hole into the end of a dowel rod to fit the long end of the wrench. With a bit of CA to glue the wrench in tight I then had a long extension to use in tight places. Good luck.

I bought one of these...it works really nice and is a multi-tasker (more than just one size bit):

      Moody Tools 51-2334 #0 Tri-Point Driver, Fixed ESD-Safe handle:

If you ignore the problem long enough, it will go away. Even flooding stops eventually!
