    Operational Torpedo’s

So a family member asked me about the need to replace the Torpedo(s) weight after firing “Therefore, a ball bearing at the boat’s center could be moved forward at the firing of the fish???” So help me respond to him?

The weight of the propellant charged weapon is equal to the weight of the water the weapon displaces. (The weapon becomes buoyant as the propellant is expelled during the run). Net change to the models displacement and c.g is zero, with or without the charged weapon aboard.
